1. Solve a good pressure decompression of small trouble
Automatic cleanup of compressed package source files
Most of the software downloaded on the Internet is compressed into zip or rar files, each installation needs to unlock the package to perform the installation package. If you want to use it in the future, you need to unpack and save the software. In this way, the original compression package is redundant. If you download a lot of software packages, decompression and then delete these compressed packets, a more link. If you add a parameter entry when you unpack, you can eliminate the manual cleanup of the compressed package source file.
Right-click the package and select "Good pressure → extract to ..." command, click the "Advanced" tab in the Extract Parameter Settings window, select the option under "Delete compressed Files" to "always delete", and then click OK (Figure 1). In this way, after the decompression, no matter how many source packages, will be automatically cleaned out by the compression software.
Classification decompression data have a clue
Downloaded packages, the number of files in each package and the number of folder layers may be indeterminate. If the batch decompression of multiple compressed packets to the current folder, uneven decompression results will result in confusion of data, not easy to manage. At this point, if the original compressed package file name Each set up a folder, the data are grouped into the corresponding directory, the tube will be much clearer.
Also select the batch of compressed package to decompress, right-click and select "Good pressure → extract each compressed file to a separate folder", you can get the compressed package name as folder name and stored separately in the decompression file (Figure 2).
Small tip:
If the above command does not appear in the right-click menu, you can use the "good pressure → other compression commands → Configure the right Menu" (Figure 3), after entering the right menu configuration window, select the "Unzip each compressed file to a separate folder" in the list, and click OK (Figure 4).
2. WinRAR "Exclude" decompression has the know-how
Eliminates manual removal of redundant paths
After extracting the compressed files, if there are multiple layers of folders under the folder that are not necessary folders, these folders are only steps to enter. Then, just remove these annoying paths during the decompression process. Do not need to extract the files removed and then delete all levels of folders.
First select the compressed package you want to extract, right-click and select "winrar→ Extract File ..." (Figure 5). In the "Extract Paths and Options" window that pops up later, click on the "Advanced" tab, in the "File path" group, we see the default selection to "Extract the full path", it is this default option to create an understanding of the pressure of the annoying multi-layer folder, then simply select "Do not extract the path", click the "OK" button, The automatic removal path is complete (Figure 6).
Small tip:
In this way, to define the target folder under the General tab, the software defaults to prompts if a file with the same name exists in multiple compressed packages. To avoid overwriting files with the same name, on the General tab, select Auto Rename.
Make a good file from a bad compression pack
If in the process of extracting a batch of data compression package, the software prompts compression package damage, confirm the compression window closed, the previously extracted files are automatically deleted, nothing. In this case, in order to maximize the availability of files, you can take advantage of the package file Protection features provided by the compression software to retain the available files.
Select the damaged compression pack, right-click and select "Extract File ...". Under the General tab of the Extract Paths and Options window, select the Keep corrupted files check box under other grouped items, and then click the OK button to perform the decompression (Figure 7). In this way, even if a decompression error occurs halfway through, the files that have been extracted will be retained without being automatically deleted. This allows you to harvest as much of the available files as possible under the Unpacked folder.
Automatically exclude unwanted files in a package
In a batch of video compression packages, each containing a JPG image of the ads, and we only need one of the video files, do not need these ads. At this point, select all the compressed packets to extract, right-click and select the "winrar→ Extract File ..." command, switch to the Advanced tab in the File Decompression Settings window, select the list of files to exclude check box, and enter the file type to exclude below, as this example enters "*. JPG ", which represents the puzzle of all JPG files (Figure 8). Click "OK" after the unpacked folder will no longer appear in the picture ads.
Small tip:
A different way of thinking. If you only want to extract a certain type of file, such as a MKV file, and all other types of files are ignored, just set the extracted file list type *. MKV "can be.
