- This is a normal phenomenon.
This indicates that the current installation of the Office 2010 Suite is the Click to Run method.

When you click the " Download " button, you will jump out of the following dialog box:

If you press " run " directly, the download and installation will be done at the same time, that is, click to run.
To install with the click to Run mode, you must need the Q section code. If the Q partition is already occupied, the error message above occurs. At this point, you can either remove the original Q partition or visit the site where you purchased Office 2010 and use your Live ID to log in. Re-download and save Office 2010 without installing in Click to Run, so you don't need a Q partition.
- Can this Q partition be deleted?
A Q partition is a virtual file system partition that is not a real partition, it has no space size and cannot be accessed through the Resource Manager or My Computer/computer . So any way to access the Q partition, such as " Hide " and " delete " are not allowed.
- All my Office documents are saved in the Q partition? The
System default Office document is saved under " My Documents ." Also, it is highly recommended that you do not save Office documents in the Q partition because they cannot be accessed through the resource manager. And if a repair installation is done through Office setup, the entire Q partition is reset and all documents saved in the path are lost.
