I learned how to create an FTP server in the computer course that day, and then I followed the teacher. It was actually very simple, but it was a little complicated to learn, some configuration files need to be downloaded, which are put here.
First, you have to prepare a Win 2003 Server or Win XP system, and then run the system with a virtual machine. Below I will give you two resource addresses for download (I use win2003server):
Win 2003 Server System: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1hqvdOLA, (I put it in the Baidu Network Disk)
IIS configuration tool: http://download.csdn.net/detail/u010800530/8044319 (credit-free upload to csdn)
After these preparations, we will start to build our own ftp server. This blog post explains how to install IIS Information Service !!
First, we start the "Win 2003 Server" Server System in Our Virtual Machine (The following is the startup Interface ):
After we start the system, we first share the "IIS management tool" downloaded on the local machine with the virtual machine:
(Click "Virtual Machine" --> Settings --> options --> shared folder. Add a folder on the right and select "always enable ")
After that, we can find it in the virtual machine.
After completing the above steps, we can install the "Internet Information Service (IIS) manager:
Start --> control panel --> add or delete programs --> Add/delete Windows Components (click the button according to the steps, as shown in the interface ):
After you click "details", the following page is displayed:
After completing the above steps, the following interface will appear, and we will check the options listed in the figure:
After the installation is complete, click "OK", and then click "Next" to display an installation progress page. As I have already installed the page, I can't help it. Let's talk about it in text:
During the installation process, a box will pop up asking you to find the IIS configuration file. Here we will talk about: Where can we find the "IIS configuration" shared by virtual machines?
Follow the steps below to find: Network neighbors --> entire network --> vmare shared folder --> VMware Host --> Shared Folders
Then, we can find the shared folder.
Then the system will automatically complete the installation.
This blog is about installing IIS on Windows server.
