1 Installing NetBackup Media medium software

The media server acts as the management interface for the disk, deploys the installation on the server that is connected to the disk, and then manages it through master server.

1.1 How to configure NetBackup media

The installation is simple, graphical interface. After installation, you can specify media location in the Hosts file, and then see if you can locate new media in the host. You can then develop a backup strategy for the host, which is managed uniformly through master server.

The following is a screenshot of the installation process, which can be found when the installation of media requirements to develop maser.

The media can be managed in three ways:

Media under the L Media and Device management

L command line methods, such as Vmadd, Vmdelete, Vmchange, etc.
