Today we show you how to configure Spring plug-ins (springsource-tool-suit) in Eclipse-jee-neon:
- Open Eclipse and view your version.
- Help–> about Eclipse
- Here, you can see that the current version of Eclipse is Neon.1a.release (4.61)
- Visit: Http://spring.io/tools/sts/all
- To see if the current page is the same as your own version of Eclipse, click the previous Spring Tool Suitetm versions to view the Springsource-tool version of the history, if it is not consistent.
- Download your own eclipse version of the corresponding Springsource-tool-suite zip, where e4.6.1 refers to the version of Eclipse, 3.8.2 refers to the Springsource-tool-suite version.
- Compressed package after download is complete
- Back in Eclipse, click help–> Install New Software
- Click the Add button
- Click Archive. , select the downloaded Springsource-tool-suite compressed package.
- Click the OK button
- In the following form, select the option with the Spring IDE, remember to hit the hook, and cancel the sites during install to find required software option, and press the next > button
- Click Next > button
- Click on the Next button
- Select the I accept the terms of license agreements option, and then press the Finish button.
- Click the next–> button
- Keep waiting, etc...
- Click the Yes button, and then eclipse restarts.
- After restarting, you can see that the spring IDE shows that the installation was successful, or if Eclipse has spring.
- Click Window–> Preferences
- Enter spring in the search box and see that there are options to prove that Eclipse has spring.
- Last view of eclipse file size, originally has size 375MB, installed spring plug-in to become 494MB, than the original spring plug-in compression package is 119MB (springsource-tool-suite-3.8.2.release-e4.6.1-updatesite.zip size: 147MB).
- The installation of the spring plugin on eclipse is complete, so start your spring trip!
