Description
This CSS property is used to set whether the borders of rows and columns of a table are merged into a single border or have separate borders
Separate default value. Borders are separated, not merged.
Collapse border Merge. That is, if adjacent, the same border is shared.
Although the weight of table in the DIV+CSS times is getting lower, but sometimes, or local table is still very useful
Especially in watchmaking, it is convenient for table comparison.
Of course, watchmaking certainly does not have borders, but if you add a frame directly to the TD, there will be a situation where the perimeter of the table is a single line, with two lines inside.
You can also implement all the single wires through other separate setups, but there's one of the easiest ways to do this, and the CSS provides the Border-collapse property to control the merging or separation of the linked borders.
