Deployment of the jeecms project in eclipse

Since its launch as an open-source project, jeecms has received wide attention from Jee users and fans across the country. Our jeecms Communication Group is also popular. Currently, the first group is full, and the second group has nearly one hundred members. Netizens are very supportive of the jeecms project, especially Java industry insiders and college students often tell us the shortcomings in the current system. With the efforts of everyone, jeecms has been continuously improved, and jeecms V2.0 has been launched.

Among them, netizens also raised some usage problems. Here, I will select a question to explain to you.
Some netizens do not know how to import jeecms to their own projects or encounter some problems during the import process. This article uses the jeecms V2.0 program as an example, explain the import process in text format.

I. preparations:
1. Set up the running environment of jeecms. Do not repeat the process here. Refer to the tutorials on the jeecms official website.
2. Prepare the jeecms package and source code package, as shown in 1. Jeecms-v2.0-beta.raris the jeecmsruntime package, and jeecms-2.0.0-beta-src.zip is the source code package.

Figure 1

3.decompress jeecms-v2.0-beta.rar and obtain the file list shown in Figure 2. Copy the jeecms folder to the webapps folder of Tomcat to start Tomcat to run the jeecms Installation Wizard. After the Wizard is complete, be sure to restart tomcat. Then log on to the system background to test whether the system is running normally.

Note: The configuration files of the jeecms system will change before and after installation. Some pre-installation configuration files (such as web. XML) is mainly used to run the installation wizard, and the installed configuration file is actually used for normal system operation. Therefore, run the installation wizard before creating the jeecms project, we need to import the program to the Eclipse project after installation.

2. Import the jeecms project:
1. Create a new project under eclipse. In this example, create a new project named jeecms_src, as shown in figure 3.

Figure 3

2. go to the jeecms project Directory deployed under tomcat, find the Lib folder under the directory, and copy all the files under the Lib folder to the lib directory of the new project in eclipse.
3. Find the Web. xml file in the running program and overwrite the Web. xml file in the Eclipse project.
4. Copy the configuration file under the WEB-INF/classes in the running program under tomcat to the src directory of the eclipse project, as shown in figure 4.

Figure 4

5.decompress the jeecms-2.0.0-beta-src.zip source code package, copy the decompressed com folder to the src directory of the eclipse project, as shown in Figure 5.

Figure 5

6. in the last step, copy other files in the running Tomcat program to the corresponding directory of the eclipse Project (this instance is under the webcontent directory ), the Lib and class folders under the WEB-INF directory can not be copied. The final eclipse Project 6 is shown below:

Figure 6

So far, importing jeecms V2.0 in eclipse has been completed. Pay special attention to the following points:
(1) The imported program must be the program installed by jeecms.
(2) Make sure that your eclipse compiling environment is jdk1.6. Otherwise, an error will occur after the import (jdk1.5 can be used in Versions later than jeecms v2.2 ).
