Some time ago, I processed Android music file information. I checked online and found that the Android system provided mediascanner, mediaprovider, mediastore, and other interfaces and provided a set of database tables, share content to users through content provider. If the phone memory card is not plugged in, if the corresponding music files are deleted or moved to another folder, the system will not automatically scan the phone memory card. The queried cursor object exists, but cursor. the value of getcount () is 0. In this program, we do not need to worry about how to scan files in the mobile phone, as long as we know how to query and use this information. Mediastore defines a series of data tables. (This data table is created by the Android system. We don't have to worry about how to create it. We just need to know how to use it !) Through the query interface provided by contentresolver, we can obtain various required information.

First, let's take a look at the contentresolver query interface, which is the same as the SQLite database query method.

Query (URI Uri, string [] projection, string selection, string [] selectionargs, string sortorder); to obtain a cursor object, the cursor object contains information about the music corresponding to the database field:

Uri: specify the name of the database to be queried and the name of the table. From mediastore, we can find the parameters for the corresponding information. For details, refer to the development documentation.
Projection: Specifies the columns in the database table to be queried. The returned cursor contains the corresponding information. Null returns all information.
Selection: Specify query Conditions
Selectionargs: Which of the following are in the selection parameter? This symbol is used to replace the question mark with the actual value. If selection does not exist? Then, the string array can be null.
Sortorder: Specify the order of query results
The following command returns information about all music files on the external memory card:
