Download the eclipse 3.3 Chinese package

Eclipse language packs are also provided in the form of plug-ins. Unfortunately, since version 3.3, eclipse does not officially provide language packs for download.

I accidentally discovered an open-source Eclipse project: Babel, which relies on the power of open-source enthusiasts around the world to translate eclipse and its plug-ins.

Usage:

Open eclipse, and choose "help"> "Software Updates"> "find and install…" from the menu ...], In the pop-up dialog box, select search for new features to install, that is, "search for new feature components to be installed". In the new dialog box, click the first button on the right, new remote site, that is, to add a new remote site, fill in the http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/update-site/ganymede in the URL column (this address may change as Eclipse is updated, please get the latest address here ), after the agreement is displayed, click agree and select the Simplified Chinese Language Pack to download and install it. After the installation is complete, restart eclipse to view the Chinese interface.

This Language Pack contains language translation for some plug-ins, so not all interfaces will be written into Chinese. In addition, the eclipse help documentation has not been written into Chinese. In fact, it is better to use the original English version for development. But after all, the Chinese interface looks quite comfortable ~

 

The update of this language pack is a huge project and requires everyone to work together. For now, the translation of Simplified Chinese language packs is slower than that of Japanese, Spanish, and French.
