1. Download and install python. Because Python 3.1 seems to have many compatibility problems, we recommend using python2.5 or 2.6. (Ps, it seems that python's official website is not available now ...)
2. Install the eclipse SDK.
Go to the http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/ to find the latest SDK version. After that, decompress the eclipse SDK to a directory.
If you prefer to use Chinese characters, go to http://download.eclipse.org/policy/babel/babel_?age_packs/to download the Chinese package.

3. Install pydev
Open eclipse, help-> install new software, and fill in http://pydev.org/updates/. then check pydevand check for nextalong the way.
4. pydev Configuration
In eclipse, choose Window> preferences (WINDOW> preferences ...) in the dialog box, select "pydev"-> "interpreter Python" from the tree list on the right, click New (newbie click here, select python.exe from the pythoninstaller, and then a dialog box will pop up asking you to check the system pythonpath and click OK.
