Eclipse Configuration ADT and CDT

Complete the configuration of the ADT and CDT under Eclipse in the afternoon:

ADT Online Configuration:

2. Start Eclipse, then select Help > software Updates.... In the dialog box that appears, click the Available software tab.
4. Click Add Site
6. In the Add Site dialog box, enter the following URL in the Location field:http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse. Click OK.
8. Back to the Available software interface, click Expand http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse, you can see the list of plugins included in the URL, with Developer Tools. Select the check box next to Developer Tools and click Install.
10. In the installation window that appears, the selected Android DDMS and Android development Tools should appear. Click Next.
12. Read and accept the license agreement, and then click Finish.
14. Restart Eclipse

ADT Offline configuration (sometimes with the possibility that ADT cannot be downloaded online due to firewall masking):

2. Start Eclipse, then select Help > Install New software.
4. Click Add, in the Top-right corner.
6. In the Add Repository dialog, click Archive.
8. Select the downloaded adt-23.0.6.zip file and click OK.
10. Enter "ADT Plugin" for the name and click OK.
12. In the Available software dialog, select the checkbox next to Developer Tools and click Next.
14. In the next window, you'll see a list of the tools to be downloaded. Click Next.
16. Read and accept the license agreements, then click Finish.

    If you get a security warning saying this authenticity or validity of the software can ' t be established, click ok< /c7>.

18. When the installation completes, restart Eclipse.

The main difference is that the offline installation directly find the downloaded configuration file, and the online configuration needs to enter the link address online download, the principle is the same.
