Eclipse's Tomcat server plug-in Tomcatplugin was developed by the Sysdeo company, and its download address is: Http://www.sysdeo.com/eclipse/tomcatplugin,
Plug-in installation is very simple, only need to extract the downloaded tomcatPluginV31 to the Eclipse installation directory plugins directory
Eclipse is turned on again, but the display of the Tomcat plug-in is not found. The solution is to start with the Startup.jar provided by Eclipse for the first time. The file is under the Eclipse directory.
Enter command
C:documents and Settingsaimoumou>d:
D:>CD Eclipse
D:eclipse>java-jar Startup.jar-clean (windows--customize perspective when you select New in the submenu Drop-down list box, make sure that the "shortcuts" list The Tomcat Project check box is selected.) WTP Eclipse is not a step
You cannot start Tomcat immediately from Eclipse, you need to specify the installation directory for Tomcat. Select Eclipse's Menu window-〉preferences ..., open the Preferrences window
Select Tomcat and, in turn, select Tomcat's version number to specify the installation path for Tomcat. The Tomcat configuration file is automatically retrieved. Select Server.xml. Other options are available by default.
