Eclipse for Mac Deployment Web project to local tomcat but not found in WebApps solution __web

Tags tomcat server

The cause of the problem:

Rather than MyEclipse, eclipse will deploy the Web project to the WebApps folder under Tomcat, but it will default to a Wtpwenapps folder, and the Wtpwebapps folder can cause localhost : 8080 Report 403 error, but you can open the Web project you created, Localhost:8080/web project, to save the Web project under WebApps, to modify deploy path

Solving method

The server location configuration is grayed out and cannot be modified until the project under Tomcat is completely cleared, so we first need to completely erase the original items under Tomcat

1. Stop Tomcat Server

2. Delete all items under this server

3, clear all the data under the server

4, double-click the server, open the Server Configuration page,

After you open, modify deploy Path in Server option, here's how I modified it
