Install, MAVEN support, and then configure the utility jdk1.8 in MAVEN conf setting and then MAVEN Update project on Eclipse, you'll use the discovery already using jdk1.8.
Before the plug-in, every time, update will find that the project changed back to use jdk1.4, but also thought that the setting configuration is wrong. This is not the case with the command line MVN compiler, and it is only later known that Eclipse MAVEN requires plug-in support Java8.
Also summarizes the experience: Use commands to determine if the configuration is valid.
