1, problem description: start Eclipse prompt has stopped start
2, Cause: previously installed on the computer ORACLE11G,JDK related environment variables and registry is modified, and eclipse needs to rely on them to find the JDK
3, the solution:
1. Right click on "My Computer", click "Properties": Select "Advanced" tab, click "Environment variables":
2. In system variables, set 3 properties, Java_home,path,classpath (no case)
Java_home indicates the JDK installation path, which is the path C:\Program files\java\jdk1.5.0_06 at the time of installation, which includes folders such as LIB,BIN,JRE (this variable is best set because Tomcat is run later, Eclipse and so on need to be dependent on this variable);
Path allows the system to identify JAVA commands under any path, set to:%java_home%\bin;%java_home%\jre\bin
Classpath is the Java load class or lib path, only the class is in Classpath, the Java command is recognized, set to:.; %java_home%\lib;%java_home%\lib\tools.jar (to Add. Indicates the current path)
%java_home% is referring to the Java_home specified earlier.
3.hkey_local_machine\software\javasoft\java Runtime Environment's CurrentVersion key value, For example, I was changed to 1.1 by Oracle installer and changed to 1.5 successfully (I installed the 1.5 version)
