I used to use the classic version of myeclipse and eclipse all the time. I feel that the classic version of eclipse is not good. So today I changed to a J2EE version and encountered two errors at startup, I found some information on the Internet and solved it. This is a problem that occurs when I use it. In order not to make the same mistake in the future, or to remember it, I wrote it here. In fact, most of the information I found on the Internet, this is mainly for future reference:
Question 1: My JVM version is low. I installed JDK 1.6. Why is it low? I found out that it was a ghost of Oracle: this problem occurs after oracle is installed, because he has a lower version of JDK, you only need to put your higher version JDK in the path.
Problem 2: After the above problem is solved, start again and it will report the following error: Eclipse startup error (JVM terminated. exit code 1), so I went to the Internet to check the relevant information and solve it. The solution is as follows:
Modify the eclipse. ini file as follows:
-Debug
Options
-VM
C:/Java/jdk1.5/JRE/bin/javaw.exe, you do not have to write in this way)
-Xms40m
-Xmx512m
-Vmargs
Problem 3: How to Handle terminated. Exit code =-1:
Add the following code to the starting position of eclipse. ini file:
-VM
C:/program files/Java/jdk1.6.0 _ 12/bin/javaw.exe (the default JDK installation path depends on the situation)
Summary:
When writing a program, we will encounter many unknown questions. This is very important for us to learn by ourselves. if resources permit and conditions permit, we can search for answers to these questions on Google, let's look at how other people solve the problem. In this case, we are not only a learning process, but also a separate solution through our own methods. We will certainly remember it very well, in the future, we will not make the same mistake.
