FineReport9.0 Defining a data connection (creating a connection to a SQL Server 2016 database)

1. Download and install the FineReport9.0 and SQL Server 2016

2. Start-to-all applications-->microsoft SQL Server 2016-->sql server Master Data Services Configuration Manager (click Open)

3. Create a database, next

Authentication type Select the SQL Server account, set the user name and password, test the connection, and then go to the next step if the connection is successful

Enter the name of the database (the name is random, OK), then click on the next step.

4, open FineReport9.0, click the box up the icon

Click the icon, select JDBC, database Select SQL Server, the drive and URL will be configured automatically.

Write the database name behind the URL, fill in the user name and password, test the connection, click OK after the connection is successful, and set up the Finereport and SQL Server connection
