Installed n Oracle, yesterday afternoon installed server Oracle, the results encountered a problem, let me baffled its solution, but finally in the help of everyone finally solved.
I installed the server is Windows Server 2007 64-bit, after the completion of Oracle I use direct login to SQL no problem, I thought the database should be installed, but later installed Plsql, landing but prompted: ora-12154: Unable to resolve the specified connection identifier. Find some solutions on the internet, found that TNS configuration, registry and so on are not wrong, and then online search, see someone has encountered a similar situation, is also a 64-bit machine and plsql is the contradiction between 32, resulting in this problem.
Specific reason: The 64-bit Win7 will install the 32-bit application into the program Files directory by default, and the two parentheses may be frustrating for Oracle. Change the installation path to a more "popular" path, the database connection again, all problems are resolved. So this time I changed the path to reinstall and found that I could log in.
Everything is caused by a 64-bit system.
64-bit system installed Oracle (ORA-12154)
