Design Patterns

Honeycomb uses many of the design patterns introduced in Android 2.0 and expands them. Search is also part of the common Operations Group. The uniqueness of the search lies in its expansion and contraction action. Click on the search icon after the search box to expand to let you enter the query keyword. This is a way to save the display space when there are many action keys or icons to show.
