Maven Eclipse TOMCAT7 Integration (1) MAVEN configuration

1. Download maven3.3.1 http://maven.apache.org/

2. Unzip and put into the specified directory D:\eclipsetools\apache-maven-3.3.1

3. Setting the MAVEN environment variable
Before configuring the MAVEN environment, be sure to configure the JDK environment
maven_home=d:\eclipsetools\apache-maven-3.3.1
Path=%maven_home%\bin

4, set up the warehouse (directory can be freely specified) at the same time modify the Conf inside the Setting.xml

Add <localRepository>E:\workspace\mavenlib</localRepository>

5. Add Mawen configuration to eclipse

Check that the Maven plugin for Eclipse is installed successfully: Window--Preferences

6. Error handling

When using the Maven plugin in Eclipse, error when running run as MAVEN build

-dmaven.multimoduleprojectdirectory system propery is not set. Check $M 2_home environment variable and MVN script match.

You can set up an environment variable m2_home point to your MAVEN installation directory

m2_home=d:\apps\apache-maven-3.3.1

And then in window->preference->java->installed Jres->edit

Set in default VM arguments

-dmaven.multimoduleprojectdirectory= $M 2_home
