MAVEN installation and specifying MAVEN for Eclipse

The latest version of Eclipse comes with Maven components, but you can use the latest version of Maven, which is installed externally, and describes how to install the configuration.

1. Create a new library folder to hold the dependency package D:\coding\m2\repository for MAVEN downloads

2. Copy the settings.xml file from the Conf folder under the MAVEN installation path to D:\coding\m2\repository

3. Open D:\coding\m2\repository\settings.xml and add <localrepository>d:\coding\m2\repository to the <settings> tab </localrepository>, save.
