Android is actually a freak: the kernel uses the Google-modified Linux kernel, and the application software runs on the Dalvik Java virtual machine.

Different from meego, meego does not perform such a big operation on the Linux kernel. meego is actually a project managed by the Linux Foundation, and the kernelCodeIt is mutually beneficial to the development of mainstream Linux code.
At the kernel level: the android code tree is removed from the Linux code tree. Therefore, the android kernel code will not be integrated into mainstream Linux kernel code, which is of little help to Linux development. Android only helps Android itself and Google.
