Recently there was a problem when I installed Oracle,

Oracle 11g Ora-12514:tns: The listener does not currently recognize the requested service in the connection descriptor

Previously installed Oracle many times Online search a lot of methods or can not solve, and finally through their own groping to find an inconspicuous reason,

Open the ORACLE-ORADB11G_HOME1/Configuration and Migration Tool/the following net Manager, after configuring the service name, open the listener in the upper right corner Select database service

At the beginning of the database service configuration is problematic, generally at first this directory is empty, you need to manually add changes, such as the start of my net Manager configuration:

Global database name is ORACLE8 and installed when I know my global database name is ORCL so this is wrong, orcle home directory is not specified, Sid is also wrong, my is lowercase orcl, so will appear above the error message, corrected such as:

Click the service again to test the connection to pass smoothly.
