question:
When logged in with Pl/sql, it appears: "Ora-01045:user system lacks create session privilege; Logon denied ".
Reason: the user does not have permission to create session sessions
Google found this section of the description:
What does "Ora-01045:user USERNAME lacks CREATE session Privilege;logon denied" mean?
It means that's username and password with which you tried to login are known and accepted by the Oracle server, but tha T the username doesn ' t have permission to create a session. If you are username should have permission to create sessions send mail to ACISDBA.
Solution:
Use the following SQL statement to assign permissions to an error user after you log on using the system user
Grant Create session to UserName (UserName is the username for logon error) If you want to give Scott permission: use Grant create session to Scott;
