Restart and shut down Nginx in Linux.

If the Nginx server is running and you want to upgrade, add, or delete a module.

We need to stop the server and make corresponding modifications so that the server will stop the service within a period of time.

Nginx can be upgraded without stopping services.

A. smooth restart command

Kill-HUP enters the title or process number file path or/usr/nginx/sbin/./nginx-s reload

Note: After modifying the configuration file, it is best to check whether the modified configuration file is correct.

This prevents Nginx errors after restart from affecting stable server operation. The command to determine whether the Nginx configuration is correct is as follows:

Nginx-t-c/usr/nginx/conf/./nginx. conf or/usr/nginx/sbin/./nginx-t

B. Restart with root permission

# Killall nginx #./nginx
