The first step is to build a 32-bit Linux operating system, because the RPM installation package here supports a 32-bit operating system, and I am using the RHEL6.2 operating system.

Here, we start from configuring the nic ip address service in Linux. Configure the IP address of the VM as shown in the following figure.

The following figure shows the Configuration status that enters after the command vi/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 is entered, press I to enter the content, the following must be noted: 1, enable the Nic service. 2. Configure the IP address and subnet mask. 3. Check that static retrieval is not set for the NIC.

Check the Nic configuration service status. If you cannot see the configured IP address, restart the Nic service.

Enable the Nic connection in the host machine, set the Nic connected to the virtual machine to be in the same network segment as the virtual machine, and then prepare to connect to the putty terminal.

Let's take a look at which Nic is connected to the Linux Virtual Machine.

If everything is okay, use the putty terminal of the software to remotely log on. Enter the IP address and click open connection.

Check the disk mounting status. It is best to mount it to a convenient place. Then create the configuration file of the yum repository. The yum repository is mainly used to solve the dependency relationship.

After entering the vi editor, configure the following content for the yum repository.

Install the installation package configuration file required for remote access:

Libao-0.8.8-7.1.el6.i686.rpm

Libsamplerate-0.1.7-2.1.el6.i686.rpm

Libsndfile-1.0.20-5.el6.i686.rpm

Yum install rdesktop-1.6.0-8.el6_0.1.i686.rpm

The first three are directly installed with RPM, and the last one is to be installed with the yum repository to solve the dependency. The system will prompt you to enter "y" to continue. Pay attention to the format shown in the figure above.

After the installation is complete, set Windows 7.

On the Windows 7 virtual machine, configure the IP address first, which must be in the same network segment as Linux, because interconnection is the foundation of the experiment. At the same time, you must connect to the same Nic.

Right-click the computer and select the following properties.

In the following window, click remote settings on the left to allow remote logon, and then click OK.

Disable the firewall.

On a virtual machine Linux server, ping the IP address configured in virtual machine win 7 to check whether the network is interconnected. Then, enter the remote logon IP address in the desktop environment to log on.

Perform remote logon on Linux. Try to set the password for logon here. If you can log on, it indicates that it is OK. Click to log on with another user.

Enter the administrator account and password to log on.

You can perform the following remote operations.

OK. The experiment is complete.
