Before you go to sleep, Alan will share with you the idea's installation and basic configuration. Use idea to create a Java Web and deploy access.
Open Idea, file>new>project, enter Java Enterprise to create a Web application project, select the JDK to use
Click Next
Modify the name of the project click Finish, open the project you just created, modify the JSP file
After modifying to Hello World, let's deploy the project to the Tomcat server
Click on the small triangle on the right, select Edit Configurations ...
Open templates.
Locate the Tomcat server drop-down and click Local
Click Configure ... button to select the locally installed Tomcat server
Click OK
Then click the OK button
Click the + sign at the top left of the configuration screen
Find Tomcat Server>local click
Here's a warning warning that says we don't have a deployment project, and then we deploy the project
Select the Deployment tab and click the + sign inside
Choose Artifact ...
It will automatically select the project you just created, you can also click on the right side of the project to add or delete the project to be deployed, click Apply Application Configuration, click the OK button
The newly deployed Tomcat name will be displayed on the right side of idea, and you can click the Green Triangle Run button to run the project access
Idea helped us automatically open the project and access it successfully in the browser, so a Web project was created and run, and little Alan was ready to take a break.
Note: The version of Tomcat server supported by different idea versions may vary, and if you are in the process of deployment, after starting an error, you can consider whether this is the reason.
Conclusion: Stay focused and the world will make way for you.
