A Google spokesman said the patch fixed the Security Vulnerability exposed by the G1 browser and improved other aspects of the system.

In October 22, T-Mobile launched its Android smartphone G1 in the United States. On June 23, October 24, Charlie Miller, Senior security researcher at the independent security assessment company (ISE) in Baltimore, pointed out that Google G1 had a security vulnerability that could allow users to access malicious websites.

Miller discovered a security vulnerability in the G1 web browser. Hackers can exploit this vulnerability to install spyware to capture the passwords and other information that users enter when browsing the website.
