On August 18, November 3, Beijing time, according to foreign media reports, Google released a patch on Saturday for the security vulnerabilities exposed by the Android mobile phone platform a few days ago.

According to Android phone users, their mobile phone prompts on Saturday afternoon: "system update". Users can choose "Update Now" or "update later ". After "update now" is selected, the screen shows that the new software is being downloaded, which can be completed in a few minutes. After restart, the patch is upgraded. A Google spokesman said the patch fixed the Security Vulnerability exposed by the G1 browser and improved other aspects of the system.

In October 22, T-Mobile launched its Android smartphone G1 in the United States. On June 23, October 24, Charlie Miller, Senior security researcher at the independent security assessment company (ISE) in Baltimore, pointed out that Google G1 had a security vulnerability that could allow users to access malicious websites.

Miller discovered a security vulnerability in the G1 web browser. Hackers can exploit this vulnerability to install spyware to capture the passwords and other information that users enter when browsing the website. In addition, this vulnerability can redirect users using mobile browsers to malicious websites.

Google said at the time that it was aware of the problem. However, due to the security characteristics of G1, the vulnerability was very destructive. Because G1 uses the "sandbox" technology, each program is independent of each other.

T-Mobile said in a statement at the time: "Google is developing a patch, and we will cooperate with Google to provide the patch to users as soon as possible. This problem does not affect the user experience of the current user ."
