After learning computer engineering for several years, I still have some experience in finding professional paper (especially the electronic version. This is a summary for future reference. This article also applies to computer science.
1. Search engines. This is actually the simplest and most effective method.
Recommended:
Google Scholar
Citeseer
Dblp
Google Scholar generally returns several results for each paper. You can click "group" to view the results. The default results are usually linked to ACM or IEEE digital library, and they are charged. If your school does not have a subscription, you cannot download it. So it is best to find a link in the group to the author's home page, laboratory home page, and so on, usually can be directly downloaded. In citeseer, there are manyArticleThe electronic versions are directly downloaded in the citeseer database. Dblp does not download papers, but a considerable number of paper links to ACM and IEEE. The advantage of dblp is that the paper is systematically classified by author, conference, and Journal. Citeseer concatenates paper based on citation.
2. ACM Digital Library
If your school and institution have subscribed to ACM digital library, it is a good place to track ACM meetings and journals. Because ACM journals and conferences are generally one of the best in this field. Therefore, it is recommended that graduate student develop the habit of regularly reading the latest Conference Proceedings and the latest transaction, especially the conceedings of conference ). ACM is clearly classified because there are not many conferences and journals (which guarantees a considerable quality. In addition, a paper citation also provides links as much as possible.
ACM journals
ACM transactions
ACM Conference Proceedings
3. IEEE Computer Society Digital Library
If you run to ieee.org instead of computer.org, you will find that paper is not that easy to find. In fact, for computer majors, it is easier to find paper at computer.org. Subscription is also required here, not free. On the other hand, there are many IEEE conferences and there are good conferences, but most of them are not as good as ACM. Therefore, we must be specific with the Conference's proceedings here. Several magzines of IEEE are still doing well. You can read them.
4. Search
If you use latex to write a thesis, it is easy to find a ready-made entry in a few places on hand (you must accumulate it yourself at ordinary times, such as not reading a paper, and put the corresponding entry into your bib file ).
Every article in ACM Digital Library provides an optional parameter. IEEE does not. Citeseer also provides an optional article, and dblp is also used. Another website, called the collection of computer science bibliographies, is dedicated to collecting paper.
This is what we often need. In fact, we don't need this article, and we all know it. You are also welcome to join us.
