How does eclipse modify dynamic web module version?
1. Modify project properties:
Right-click the Eclipse project, select properties, and select Dynamic Web module from project facets to change 3.0 to 2.5. The following message may be displayed:
Cannot change version of Project facet dynamic web module to 2.5
This indicates that the modification cannot be done, and the second method is used.
2. modify the configuration file:
Find the hard disk directory of the project and open the. Setting folder under the project, for example:
FindOrg. Eclipse. WST. Common. Project. facet. Core. xmlFile. The file format is roughly as follows:
<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>
<Faceted-Project>
<Runtime name = "Apache Tomcat v5.5"/>
<Fixed facet = "JST. Web"/>
<Fixed facet = "JST. Java"/>
<Installed facet = "JST. Java" version = "5.0" type = "regxph" text = "yourobjectname"/>
<Installed facet = "JST. Web" version = "2.5" type = "regxph" text = "yourobjectname"/>
<Installed facet = "WST. jsdt. Web" version = "1.0"/>
</Faceted-Project>
You can directly manually modify the version corresponding to JST. Web. Restart Tomcat X to make it ready for use.
