How to install JDK on the Windows platform

IPhone developers are relatively saturated abroad, but there are still many vacancies in China. However, due to the limitations of the SDK itself, many Mac OS internal design limitations exist, therefore, many Android users cannot use third-party sdks without jailbreak on the iPhone, such as basic applications such as input methods and incoming call firewalls. Windows Phone 7 is currently unavailable, microsoft's limit is no less than the iPhone's current performance in terms of the interface and SDK. At the same time, the Silverlight library is well known, and there are still some requirements in China, at present, Android products such as shanzhai machine and tablet still have good room for development in China.

Download the Java Development Kit JDK

As a developer, we chose JDK instead of JRE. So we clicked the DOWNLOAD button under JDK to enter the new webpage, for example:

There are versions available for download on different platforms. For Windows platforms, there are 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Select the appropriate version based on the version of your computer's Windows platform, I use a 32-bit Windows XP system. Select to download jdk-7u4-windows-i586.exe. If the Windows system is 64-bit, download jdk-7u4-windows-x64.exe. To download the corresponding version, you must accept the corresponding license agreement. By default, the corresponding license agreement is not accepted. See. Click Download to provide instructions. For example:

You must click the "Accept License Agreement" button on the left to Accept the corresponding License Agreement. After you click it, the page will become as shown in:

Click the corresponding version to start the download. For 32-bit Windows systems, click jdk-7u4-windows-i586.exe. for 64-bit Windows systems, click jdk-7u4-windows-x64.exe.

Install JDK

If you download the executable program of exe, this is an installation program. You only need to run the program for installation. Of course, you can specify the installation path during the installation process. If the downloaded file is not an executable program but a compressed file, it is generally a zip file, such as the early JDK version. In this case, you only need to extract the compressed file to the desired Java installation directory, and then set the environment variable. There are many decompression tools on Windows, such as WinRAR and 7-Zip. You can choose one based on your preferences.

Check JDK Environment Variables

Run the console cmd.exe after JDK is installed, for example:

When you click "Confirm", the "cmd.exe" program will be started, for example:

Enter java-version and press the Enter key to check whether the Java environment variable is configured successfully. If the configuration is successful, the corresponding java version is displayed. on my computer, the Java version is 1.7.0 _ 02, as shown in:

If the installation fails, the environment variables are usually not set properly. Currently, JDK on Windows is a well-prepared installation package. Generally, it is normal after installation. In the early days, JDK had a zip file format. After decompression, you need to set the environment variables. The current JDK does not have this problem. Therefore, we will not bother with the environment variable settings.
