There are many ways to install plug-ins in eclipse, but they are compared to various installation methods. I recommend using the following installation methods. The main advantage is that we can update and upgrade to a certain plugin at any time.
Installation method:
1. First download the Eclipse plugin from various websites;
2. Create the Extplugins and Links folder in the Eclipse installation directory (as shown below);
3. Create the plugin folder you downloaded below Extplugins (as shown in the image below);
4. Create the features and plugins folders under the Plugins folder you see (as shown in the image below);
5, the Eclipse plug-in you download by the type respectively into features and plugins (in general, the plugin directory is features and plugins named to facilitate our installation);
6, add the appropriate link file in the link, and add "path=extplugins/Plugin directory Name" in the links file, such as "Path=extplugins/checkstyle" (as shown in the figure below).
7. Restart eclipse to take effect.
