If the Windows 7 OS notepad cannot be opened, the system displays "cannot open this file" processing details.

Solution:

1. Right-click "notepad" on the desktop and then click "properties" in the pop-up menu;

2. On the displayed page, select the "change" button under the "general" option, as shown in the following figure.

3. Now we have selected notepad for the open method, and then we will select "always use the selected program to open this file" and then click "OK;

4. Return to the notepad properties window and click the "application-OK" option;

5. When you open notepad again, you will find that the "open mode" dialog window is no longer displayed, and the problem can be well solved.

Well, you will find that the notepad we introduced above cannot be opened and the "cannot open this file" is solved. In fact, there is a way to double-click to open it, then select the file type when the pop-up is displayed. This method is often used in the XP system, and the above operation method may be used in win7.
