To develop a project collaboratively, I installed the svn plug-in under eclipse today, and encountered a little trouble in the middle. Now I will record the installation process.
Configuration:
OS: fedora14 KDE
Eclipse version: eclipse-modeling-helios-SR1-incubation-linux-gtk3.6.1
JDK: openjdk1.6.0 _ 20
1. Install eclipse
Refer to my other articleArticleHttp://blog.csdn.net/shiyanhui66/archive/2010/10/24/5962231.aspx
, Fedora adopts the second method.
Ii. Install the svn plug-in
1. Install subeclipse
Help-> eclipse marketplace, search for subeclipse under yoxos
Then select the first one in the figure to install the SDK.
However, when SVN is created after installation, the following prompt is displayed: Unable to load SVN client. Google said that it had to install javahl.
2. Install javahl
Search for the subversion under yoxos, which contains javahl. You can also install javahl separately.
After javahl is installed, an error is prompted:
Failed to load javahl library. these are the errors that were encountered: No libsvnjavahl-1 in Java. library. the path no svnjavahl-1 in Java. library. path no svnjavahl in Java. library. path Java. library. path =/usr/lib/JVM/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0/JRE/lib/i386/client:/usr/lib/JVM/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0/JRE/lib/i386: /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2:/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2:/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2:/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2:/usr/Java/packages/lib/i386: /lib:/usr/lib
Google once said that libsvn-Java is installed in Ubuntu, but this package does not exist in fedora. I thought it might not be called in fedora. Enable Yum ex decisively (if you have not installed Yum ex, you only need the following command ):
Yum install yumex
Search for svnkit:
As shown in, select installation 2 and installation 4.
Restart eclipse.
Ii. SVN Configuration
Window-> show view-> Other, locate SVN, as shown in:
Select the option shown in the bright stripe and install it step by step as prompted.
Now, the svn environment configuration of eclipse under fedora is complete.
