Install CDT in eclipse to develop C/C ++

Now we have finally completed this great task. In an IDE, we can develop Java and write c ++. This is no match with !!!

 

This is the case. After installing the CDT plug-in eclipse, you can create a C ++ development environment. However, I tried it a long time ago and encountered some problems, so that I download another eclipse for C ++ and use it together with two eclipse, which is quite uncomfortable.

 

For more information, see the post on the Internet. However, the following steps are correct. I use the simplest method.

 

Download the CDT corresponding to eclipse, which is described on the official website. You do not need to decompress the package.

 

In eclipse, help-> install new software...

Click the Add button and enter a name such as CDT in name. Select the downloaded CDT file in archive.

Remove the "Contact all update sites during install to find required software" check box, because it is still online to obtain information, slow and dead.

An error is reported!

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items cocould not be found. software being installed: C/C ++ Remote launch 6.0.0.201102110609 (Org. eclipse. CDT. launch. remote. feature. group 6.0.0.201102110609)

 

The first sentence is that one or more required items cannot be found !!! C/C ++ Remote launch.

 

What is the problem ??

 

My solution is to remove the C/C ++ Remote launch option, so that you can continue the next step until you have installed the CDT!
