The prerequisite is that the JDK is already installed.
1. Download the Eclipse tar.gz package.
2. Unzip
Tar-zxv-f Bag
3. Go to the Unpacked folder and run the Eclipse-inst program
./eclipse-inst
Then there is the graphical interface.
Note This step does not operate with the root account, otherwise the normal account cannot run eclipse after installation
4. After the installation is complete, create the eclipse.sh file under/usr/local/bin.
Join Eclipse's execution file path, such as mine:
/home/eclipse/eclipse
Save exit.
5. Plus everyone's running privileges
chmod a+x eclipse.sh
6. Give eclipse.sh an individual name, will use SJ account in the following sentence to join/HOME/SJ/.BASHRC
Alias eclipse= ' eclipse.sh '
After saving the rollout, run
Source/home/sj/.bashrc
At this point, SJ can start eclipse by entering the Eclipse command directly at the command line.
If you do not want to install eclipse in the home, you can install and then use the root account to copy the Eclipse folder to/opt, only need to change the path of the eclipse.sh in the execution of the file, no other action can be as smooth as open eclipse!
