You receive a warning message on the System Configuration Check page on the computer where SQL Server 2005 Setup is running Windows Vista or on a Server Core installation of Windows Server 2008
Symptoms:
Please consider the following scenario. You install Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition a computer that is running one of the following operating systems through Advanced Services: Windows Server 2008 operating system
Windows Vista operating system
In this case, you receive the following warning message that the IIS feature requirements on the System Configuration Check page in SQL Server 2005 setup are:
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is not installed, or is disabled. IIS is some of the required SQL Server features. Without IIS, some SQL Server features are not used for installation. To install all SQL Server features, add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel to install IIS or enable IIS services through the controls panel, if installed, and then run SQL Server Setup again. Reason:
This problem occurs because the SQL Server does not have all IIS 7.0 components installed on the computer. The following table lists the affected components.

To work around this issue, install the IIS 7.0 component, but not on the computer.
