Install Mac OS Virtual Machine on Windows

Recently, I have been involved in iPhone development. So I want to install a Mac OS system on my home machine for a better experience and understanding. I have encountered many problems and I want to record them.

Manually install a new Virtual Machine

The Startup File required for installation: This is different from the virtual machine installation in winodws Linux. You need to use the following file [that works] For boot, and then use the Mac OSX installation disk for installation.

Test results:

10.5.5 virtual machines can be started and used under VMware. Because there is no vmare tools, the mouse operation is slow [development is basically impossible]. According to someone on the internet, the current CPU usage has improved.

The effects that can be found on the VMware Tools Network on Mac OS are not good. [set vmwar to check "VMware kernel paravirtualization" during running; otherwise, it will be locked on the logon interface]; the strange thing is that the normal VMware file is added to the virtual box to establish a virtual machine and cannot enter the system normally. To improve performance, install a physical version 10.5.5 on the machine configured in this way, after the installation is complete, the system restarts repeatedly and cannot be used. If the-V option is enabled, the system restarts after several lines of information are displayed, I wonder whether it is the role of VMware kernel paravirtualization [10.5.5 this installation disk was successfully installed on a previously configured obsolete machine]

 

10.6.2 the virtual machine cannot be started, and the installation on the real machine cannot be started. The-V option shows that it is not supported by the video card.

 

It seems that running Mac OS on older machines is troublesome. These problems can be seen on Intel Core series CPUs.

It is estimated that the solution is to upgrade an existing machine or buy a Mac Mini.
