Install Maven in eclipse (on)

First go to the Apache Maven website, http://maven.apache.org, In the maven site home page download Maven binfile, download and decompress to the local directory, decompress the path recorded as $ {maven_home}, for example: c:/maven-2.0.7, set $ {maven_home}/bin to the path environment variable of the system.
Start a command line prompt and enter MVN
-Version: If the installation is correct, the maven version information is displayed. Additional Messages are displayed based on the platform and system environment. For example:
C:/> MVN -- version

Download eclipse from the http://www.eclipse.org and decompress it to the local path as $ {eclipse_home}, for example: C:/eclipse.
3. Start eclipse

To connect to the Internet through a proxy network, you must first install and update the eclipse software by using the following methods:
Select window à preferences à install/update (compared with versions earlier than eclipse3.3)

Select window à preferences à General à Network
Connections (compared with eclipse3.3 Java EE Europa)

In the displayed dialog box, select search for new features to install and click Next.
In the displayed dialog box, select new
Remote site...
In the displayed dialog box, enter as shown in, and click OK.

Click OK. The page is as follows. The new Maven site is selected by default. Click Finish to update the plug-in.

 
Next, select the latest plug-in version for updates. (In this dialog box, select the component that can be installed and click Finish)
