SoundSwitcherIndicator is a panel application that selects Ubuntu sound input/output. You can switch between the current input and output (source and sink) and specific output ports by double-clicking. Double-click to switch between the audio output of the headset, speaker, and HDMI. In Ubuntu 13.10, you can run the PPA command to open the terminal and run the following command:
Sudo apt-add-repository ppa: yktooo/ppa
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install indicator-sound-switcher
There are still some problems with Ubuntu 14.04 installation.
