Install the Penguin Chinese Input method under Redhat Linux 9 __linux

The small Penguin Chinese Input method (free Chinese input Toy for X,FCITX) is a GPL released, based on the Xim simplified input method (its predecessor is G Wubi), including wubi, pinyin, location input method, is used in the Linux OS input method.

Let's talk about how I installed FCITX under RH Linux 9.
First download the RPM software fcitx-3.0.0-1.i386.rpm on the author's homepage.
Open the terminal window and perform the following installation steps:
Switch to Super User root line
The top of the note that starts with//
$ Su-
First delete the system's own input method
# RPM-E Minichinput
Go to download Fcitx directory (i download the file's directory is/tmp directory)
# cd/tmp
Then use the rpm command to install FCITX
# RPM-IVH fcitx-3.0.0-1.i386.rpm
# Cd/usr/bin
# LN-SF FCITX Chinput
Here is the installation completed, restart to the Linux desktop, see, Penguin Chinese Input method came out.
