Install the telnet service in CentOS7

Today, I upgraded openssl and openssh under Centos 7, and installed telnet.

# Install telnet to prevent ssh logon failures

Yum-y install xinetd telnet-server

# Allow root Account Login

Vi/etc/securetty

# Add two lines at the end

Pts/0pts/1

# Add a firewall port
Vi/etc/sysconfig/iptables-a input-p tcp-m state -- state NEW-m tcp -- dport 23-j ACCEPT

# Restart the service to disable firewalld
Systemctl restart iptablessystemctl disable firewalldsystemctl stop firewalld

# Register a service
Systemctl enable telnet. socketsystemctl start telnet. socketsystemctl enable xinetdsystemctl start xinetd

# The/etc/xinetd. d/telnet file is not generated after installing telnet under centos7. I wrote a file according to the previous configuration and it seems useless. No more information is found on the Internet.

# This is enough for temporary use.
