Installation environment for this article: 1.arch Linux 2. hadoop1.0.1 Local pseudo distribution mode installation 3. Eclipse 4.5
1. Download the Linux version of Eclipse (Http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/?osType=linux), select IDE for Java EE, note to download the package, do not download installer.
2. Unzip the downloaded package to the installation directory of the software, where eclipse is available and the next task is to configure the Hadoop plugin.
3. Since the Hadoop version I learned is version 1.0.1, the plugin installed is also this version. Plugin: Http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mgjF4kK
After downloading, copy the plugin to the eclipse/plugins/folder.
4. Start Eclipse, then select Eclipse->window->perspective->other, if the above steps are not a problem, the Map/reduce option appears, select and click OK.
5. Select Map/reduce Locations in the tabs below, then right-click on the New Hadoop location ... in the space that appears, and the Configure Hadoop Locationde window will pop up. Follow the configuration as shown:
6. After the configuration is complete, click Finish,map/reduce locations next to the Map/reduce location where the new configuration appears. At this point, the Hadoop Eclipse plug-in is installed.
