A. Download the Boost_1_59_0 source package in www.boost.org and unzip it.
B. After entering the directory, run./bootstrap.sh, which generates an Bjam executable program. C. Run the./bjam to compile. Wait ... d. After a successful compilation, there will be a stage, bin.v2 two directories under the Bjam sibling folder. The bin.v2 is the target file generated at compile time, and the boost library file is placed in the stage. E. New directory/usr/share/boost_1_59_0/. Copy the stage and boost two directories to/usr/share/boost_1_54/lower. In the stage for Boost library files, boost is the boost header file. F. Modify the/etc/profile file and add the following three environment variables:
- export boost_root=/usr/share/boost_1_ 59_0
- export boost_include=/usr/share/boost_1_ 59_0
- export Boost_lib=/usr/share/boost_1_59_0/ Stage/lib
Run Source/etc/profile to make it effective. G. Create a new link to the header file directory: Ln-s/usr/share/boost_1_49_0/boost//usr/include/boost H. Boost is now available.
