( install embedded Linux to the Development Board NAND Flash via USB download cable from NOR Flash on the Development Board)
Detailed steps:
Installation Preparation 1: Hardware connection
Flash switch located in nor Flash
The serial cable is connected to the PC
USB Download cable already connected to PC
Connect the Development Board power cord and turn off the Development Board power switch.
Installation Preparation 2: Install USB Download Cable driver
(1) Copy the DNW two files to the Linux system (Directory/Home )
(2)insmod dnw_usb ...
(3)lsmod See if the driver is installed successfully
(4) Run the dnw command ./dnw./...
(5) If there are errors with insufficient BASH:./DNW permissions, do the following:chmod 777./DNW
Start installing the Linux system to the Development Board
1. Open the SECURECRT, connect the serial port comx (x can be found in the Windows system's PC -Properties -Device Manager -ports)
2. Open the power supply of the Development Board
3. In securecrt, enter 9 (y)-----format NAND flash
4. In securecrt, enter 1-----for bootloader installation
5. Go to the Linux virtual machine and locate the USB (tq2440) in the bottom right corner of the U disk , right -connect
6. Copy/exit Burn image Collection /day-embedded 3.5-inch screen image /u-boot/files to a Linux virtual machine
7. In the Linux virtual machine, execute the./dnw./ Step 6 copy of the bin format file
8. In securecrt, enter 3-----to install the Linux kernel
9. Copy/exit Burn image Collection /day-embedded 3.5-inch screen image /linux-2.6.30.4 to a Linux virtual machine
10. In the Linux virtual machine, execute the./dnw./ Step 9 copy of the bin format file
11. In securecrt, enter 6-----to install the Linux root file system
12. Set /exit Burn image Collection /linux file system image /root-qtopia_ .... 256m_ .... Copy to a Linux virtual machine
13. In the Linux virtual machine, execute the./dnw./ Step 12 copy of the bin format file
14. Turn off the Power ----- switch Flash to NAND flash-----Turn on the power to see the Linux system installed in the Development Board
