Integrating the Tomcat plug-in in Eclipse is the same as configuring Tomcat in MyEclipse, and the final functionality will be the same, using separate Tomcat software, and MyEclipse can be configured directly with Tomcat, Eclipse must first install a Tomcat plug-in and then integrate it into the Tomcat server, and see the specific integration steps below:
Step One: Download the tomcat plugin
The address is: http://www.eclipsetotale.com/tomcatPlugin.html
If your Tomcat version is not less than 5, you can download the latest version.
Step two: Unpack
Unzip the downloaded file as: com.sysdeo.eclipse.tomcat_3.3.0, and then copy the directory to the Eclipse's plugin directory (plugins)
Step Three: Configure
When you restart Eclipse, you can see more tomcat menu bars and icons on top of eclipse, but not yet, select menu: window->preferences, "Tomcat" on the left. Then, for Tomcat version selection and JRE configuration, the JRE is chosen to be the same as in the Java-install JRE, that is, the JRE is selected in the JDK, as shown in the figure:
