General MAVEN needs to be integrated into the IDE instead of being used alone, and common Maven integrates ide:eclipse, IntelliJ idea. But here's a MAVEN environment configuration based on just learning about eclipse integrated maven.
- Installation of the Maven plugin for eclipse:
In most cases, download eclipse has integrated the MAVEN plugin by default, verifying that the Eclipse menu is integrated window->preferences
If not, you can find Maven in Eclipse Marketplace and find a plugin that is consistent with the current version of Eclipse to download the installation directly.
- The MAVEN plugin configuration for eclipse:
1) From the Eclipse Menu Window->preferences window, locate the MAVEN node under installations
Click the "ADD" button to select the current MAVEN installed directory: D:\Work\Java\apache-maven-3.5.0-bin\apache-maven-3.5.0, tick the new Maven install directory option
Click "Apply".
2) Locate the "User Settings" node and configure the global Settings and repository directories.
Click "Apply" and click "OK" to save.
