1, what is the meaning of 2 in the Java EE?

The meaning of 2 in J2se,j2se,j2me is to be traced back to 1998 years.
1998 Java 1.2 release, 1999 released the Java 1.2 Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, mini version of the three versions, in order to differentiate these three versions, respectively, called Java2se,java2ee,java2me, referred to as J2SE,J2EE,J2ME. Therefore, the meaning of 2 is version 1.2.
However, this name has been canceled after the release of Java 1.6 in 2005, and the renamed Java Ee,j2se to Java Se,j2me renamed Java ME.

2. What's the name of Java?

Java is the English name of the Indonesian island of Java, known for its rich coffee.
Many of the library class names in the Java language are related to coffee: JavaBeans (coffee beans), NetBeans (network beans), and Objectbeans (object beans) and so on.

Another argument is that Java originates from a combination of several major developer names in Java: **j**ames Gosling (James Goslin) **a**rthur**v**an Hoff (Asser Fan Hoff) **a**ndy Bechtolsheim (Andy Bectock), or "**j**ust**a**nother**v**ague**a**cronym" (just another vague abbreviation).
But the more plausible argument is that this group of people is based on the love of coffee, so it is named after Java Coffee. The first four bytes of a class file, if read in hexadecimal, are "CA FE BA be" and spell out two words "Cafe BABE" (Coffee baby).
