Introduction to Packet Tracer 1

Packet tracer is an auxiliary learning tool released by Cisco. It provides a network simulation environment for beginners of Cisco network courses to design, configure, and troubleshoot network faults. You can directly use the drag method to create a network topology on the graphic user interface of the software, and provide detailed processing process of data packets traveling in the network to observe the real-time running status of the network.

 

II. Introduction to software installation

This software is used in Baidu yisearch and Baidu, and is easy to install. It is basically the next one.

 

 

3. Real-time mode on the software interface: when the host pc0 is pinged to the host pc1, it can be completed instantly without displaying the communication details (packet forwarding Status). This is the real-time mode. Simulation mode: when the host pc0 ping host pc1, it will not be completed immediately, but it will manually control the data packets transmitted to one device to another, the Packet status and Packet group format are displayed at the same time. 4.
