Memory Management (1) Basic concepts:

1. Logical address: The offset address + segment selector in the code

2. Linear Address: Select a sub-subgrade address from the GDT from the segment + offset address in code

3. Physical Address: Actual address converted by paging mechanism

4. Invalid page error: CPU generates this exception when the physical page corresponding to the page that the program accesses does not exist

5. Copy-on-write: Multiple processes in the shared code segment, data segment, the entire memory only one copy. When a process is writing data, the memory manager copies the data segments for this process and establishes the page correspondence. This can reduce memory usage
